Ready to get started with Job Corps? Great, we are ready too! First things first, make sure you are eligible and meet the criteria for Job Corps. Basic eligibility requirements are:
Be between the ages of 16-24*
Be a U.S. citizen, legal U.S. resident, or are a resident of a U.S. territory and/or are authorized to work in the United States
Meet low income guidelines*
Other eligibility requirements may apply
All applications are subjected to a criminal background check, and certain convictions will cause an application to be ineligible. *There are certain exemptions or circumstances that may allow an application to be eligible for these categories. Speak with an admissions counselor to determine your eligibility.
If you are eligible for Job Corps, the next step is to gather required documentation and complete application forms. Refer to the diagram on the left for documentation required for EVERY application.
Each application and situation may vary, and may require different or additional documentation or forms. Your admissions counselor will advise you if any of these items are necessary in completing your application.

*Upon completion of the initial application forms, your application will be forwarded to an admissions counselor in your area. They will follow up with you to discuss the next steps in the application process.
If you know you are ready to sign up with Job Corps, or just need some more information, we are here to help! There are a couple of ways to get in touch with an admissions counselor:
Submit an interest form at the Job Corps website. This will enter your information into the Job Corps network and connect you with an admissions counselor in your area.
Call one of our field offices. We have our information listed by state and metro area. Find the field office information for Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
